He says there was “nothing else like it” and there probably would not be again.

“I think it is more likely that investors/developers would be interested rather than farmers, as much as I would love to see someone buy it with the sole intention of farming.

“I expect someone will buy it, do the extra subdividing, and then sell all of it or most of it separately.”

While the Slattery Rd property currently has 17 titles, varying in size from 1.2ha up to 12.8ha, plans have been lodged with council to create an additional six titles.

“I don’t know of any property in the area that is comparable to this one,” he says.

“It will really come up nicely once renovated.”
