The Australian Jockey Club has announced that it will be spending in excess of $25 million upgrading Warwick Farm Racecourse. New member, spectator, racing and training facilities will be built along with a 1,000 vehicle sealed car park. AJC will refurbish the club and enclose the main grandstand, cover the betting ring, rebuild the race day stalls, renovate the existing tie-up stalls and build new tie-up stalls. A new parade area with spectator seating will be built, the B-grass track will be reinstated, the course proper revamped and 5km of light training tracks through the area now call polo fields will be constructed. Liverpool is one of the biggest growth areas. This is great for the area and is sure to generate a lot of jobs.
