Health Infrastructure NSW, working in partnership with The Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Café operators for an opportunity at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

The NSW Government is investing $619 million to redevelop The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. The centrepiece of the project is a new Paediatric Services Building with a new hospital entry featuring a village green, play areas and gathering spaces. The village green will be the welcoming entry for hundreds of staff and visitors every day, and will be well connected to the adjoining Central Acute Services Building, medical research institutes and local residential areas. The site also forms part of the broader Westmead Health Precinct, which has further development underway inclusive of the Parramatta Light Rail and the Cumberland West Mental Health Services Relocation projects. The Café is critical to this masterplan and the future amenity needs of patients, families and staff of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Precinct partners.

This exiting café opportunity is within the new forecourt and the Coffee Cart is in the new multi-story carpark at The Children’s Hospital Westmead.
The handover for the Café and Coffee Cart is early 2024 with opening for trade mid 2024.

Cafe is approx 140 sqm with approx. 90 sqm outside area

Please note that all the design and build works for this new Café is to be bourne entirely by the Lessee – there is no capital contribution available.
