We have the privilege to conduct an Expressions of Interest process on behalf of Tasmanian Ports Corporation (TasPorts) as owners of the Mersey slip yard and associated infrastructure located at the southern end of the Port of Devonport.

This is an outstanding Northern Tasmanian location on the banks of the Mersey River, which has provided a wide variety of shipwright and berthing services to fishing, commercial survey and private vessels throughout the State for decades.

TasPorts is offering suitably qualified operators an opportunity to secure a leasehold interest in a portside brownfield site of approximately 11,100 sqm* with direct river access.

An (EOI) process is being undertaken with a view to enter into a long-term lease agreement across the slip yard site. It is anticipated that interested parties will propose the utilisation of existing site facilities, as well as development of new slipway berths and infrastructure.
