The Frankston Hospital Redevelopment is the largest ever health infrastructure investment in Melbourne’s south-east. The extensive overhaul includes a new tower with 12 levels of clinical services that will include a new main entrance. The project will introduce new spaces for mental health and oncology services, provide 15 new operating theatres and 130 more beds.

Once completed, the bigger and better Frankston Hospital will have the capacity to treat approximately 35,000* more patient episodes each year – cutting wait times and reducing pressure on other metropolitan hospitals.

The project is currently under construction with main works to be completed in 2025.

To enhance the experience for patients, staff, and visitors, the redevelopment will feature over 1,200sqm* of retail space. Tenancies will include a pharmacy, convenience store, florist, cafés, and up to five food court opportunities.
