The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is seeking expressions of interest from experienced operators for the lease of Minnamurra Rainforest Centre.

The centre has been upgraded to include:
• a new commercial kitchen area
• a new deck, creating a magnificent vantage point for views of the rainforest
• new internal toilets
• improved storage
• establishment of a flexible open plan layout that can be used for events and functions
• increased accessibility, in line disability access standard

Interested parties are invited to provide sustainable and commercially viable business proposals for the use of this popular visitor destination within Budderoo National Park.

Proposals should outline how quality visitor services will be provided and show consideration for the environmental, cultural and social values of the site.

Interested parties will have experience in the operation of visitor services, including food and beverage operations, skills in marketing and an ability to work collaboratively with NPWS in the ongoing conservation and maintenance of the site.
