The Land Development Corporation’s 9 hectare (90,000m2) hardstand provides a safe and secure area, well suited for fabrication, assembly, commissioning, maintenance and repair activities, as well as excellent load-in/load-out facilities via the Barge Ramp.
The Barge Ramp is designed for a variety of coastal shipping Barges. The 20 metre-wide Barge Ramp allows for two Barges side-by-side and is -1.1 chart datum at lowest tide.
Available for commercial use, the Barge Ramp has a rock wall designed to minimise water movement, constructed with heavy duty concrete, navigational aids and lighting in the staging area.
The Hardstand is available for both short and long-term lease with flexible options available.
