Born and bred on the Gold Coast, Todd Warner has firmly established himself as one of the busiest and best brokers on the coast since joining ResortBrokers in 2017.


To date, he has sold 84 businesses totalling more $109 million. Todd’s impressive sales record has been recognised with ResortBrokers’ Rising Star award in 2018/19, back-to-back wins as Volume Broker of the Year in 2019/20 and 2020/21, and Management Rights Broker of the Year award in 2021/22.


Todd’s notable recent sales include the breakthrough sale of Kirra Beach Apartments, the first short-term resort sale on the Gold Coast since Covid; Magnoli at Palm Beach, an iconic Sunland development sold off-the-plan; Byron Quarter, which was sold within three days of going to market during the Byron Bay boom; Lennox Beach Resort, a beachside resort in the popular northern NSW surfing town; and Sage at Merrimac, a luxury residential development in bustling Merrimac.


Todd is an expert across all asset types and classes, whether it is off-the-plan, permanent or short-term management rights. His outstanding results have been achieved by building lasting relationships, providing peerless customer service and delivering results-driven solutions for his clients.


“If you’re a regular good bloke who listens to people, gets to know what they’re actually after and find it for them, then you will get results,” says Todd. “I’ve built my reputation on that, and referral business is what I’m running on. Your buyers of today are your vendors and clients of tomorrow. If you treat your buyers with the same level of respect, service and quality that you treat your vendors then you’ll have clients for life. I’ve sold properties two or three times over, and I’m selling assets now that I sold five years ago, because I’ve built great relationships with people.”


Todd applies this philosophy whether he’s selling small mum-and-dad management rights, new off-the-plan projects or large high-net syndication businesses.“It’s providing solutions, that’s all it is. We’re here to make things easier for everybody, that’s our job,” he says.


Prior to ResortBrokers, Todd forged a highly successful 20-year career as a sales professional within the liquor and construction industries. At Bacardi Martini, the world’s largest family-owned spirit company, Todd coached, developed and led successful sales teams across a variety of key roles at both a national and state level. He exponentially grew Bacardi’s market share, as well as a being a positive force within Bacardi’s business culture.


Outside work, Todd is a devoted father and husband to his young family, plus a self-confessed sports’ tragic whether it’s chasing waves at his local surf break at Tugun, or supporting his beloved Broncos, Reds and Brisbane Lions.
