Steve Maher

Steve in the managing Director and non-selling (residential) principal of QCR. He comes from a strong real estate family and the Maher surname is synonymous with real estate, especially in QLD. It all started back in 1938 when J.J. (Jack) Maher started the first Maher family real estate agency in Brisbane, Australia. His first office was in Sandgate, Brisbane and later opened an office in Wilston, way before it became one of the hottest suburbs in that city. Jack was also a prominent owner of Commercial property on the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Several family members caught the property bug and launched agencies and property empires along the way. Steve began his foray into real estate in 1998 on the Gold Coast as a residential agent. The broader Maher family has well over 100 years of collective real estate experience.

Steve's specialty has been in off-market transactions. Many of which are never talked about or promoted to protect the privacy of his clients. He deals with some of the wealthiest and well-known clients in Australia and overseas is a trusted confidante and mentor for all things real estate. Steve is primarily focused on building the QCR business across Australia.
