Neil Butler

While Neil Butler has owned & operated Stockdale & Leggo Dandenong since 1987, he started work there in 1981. This was after then-Directors – the late Lindsay Thomas & son Peter Thomas, now the CEO of the national Stockdale & Leggo network – personally invited Neil to join them after spotting his stand-out sales skills in another agency.

Their instinct proved right. Neil obtained his full license, became the top salesperson in the Stockdale & Leggo network, maintained that prestigious position throughout the next six years – and then bought the office outright in 1987.

Neil – also the expert auctioneer & sharp negotiator behind the office’s 90%-plus auction clearance rate – enjoys a hands-on role in the widely reputed office. He oversees & is actively involved in both the Sales & Property Management Departments, ensuring that high standards & results are maintained & constantly improved.

“Staying in touch with vendors, buyers and our investors is very rewarding,” says Neil. “Auctioning a property for a higher-than-expected price and getting a really big bear hug from a very relieved vendor feels pretty good!”

Neil, who also holds a Diploma in Business, has successfully negotiated all types of properties in varying market conditions, knows the region inside out, and has an excellent understanding of & rapport with the area’s multicultural community.
