Bronwyn Handley

My name is Bronwyn Handley and I would like to give you a short overview of my experience. I have worked in a variety of Real Estate divisions, being Commercial and Industrial, Land Marketing and Residential within Queensland. A career change enabled me to move to the Hospitality industry and a move to the Northern Territory for 3 years, living at an isolated property 100klm south east of Alice Springs and then transferring into Alice Springs. In 1995 I headed off overseas to travel Africa, Spain and the UK with full intentions of returning to Australia within 6 months. After running out of money and not being able to afford the return airfare, I settled myself in London and was employed as a Tour Manager with Contiki Holidays, which allowed me to travel through Europe, Russia and Scandanavia along with up to 50 clients each time. The lifestyle also allowed me to travel to South America and Mexico independently. A 6 month period turned into 7 years which saw my return to Australia. Real Estate has always been a passion for me. I have the ability to function in all areas of Real Estate, be it Property Management, Residential Sales or Commercial Sales and Leasing. I have been awarded the First National Groups Property Manager of the Year 2003 for both the Brisbane Zone and the State. I strive to give my Clients the same service I expect. As a founding Director of Switch Realty, our focus was to provide the latest and greatest Real Estate technology available plus extensive and continuous training, to provide a service second to none. With the sudden death of my business partner and friend, Barry Niebling, I have re-structured the business as a Sole Director Company and with the support of a fantastic team of professionals, I strive to take the business to greater heights without losing the importance of being a boutique agency.
