Peter Burns

Peter Burns is the western suburbs’ number-one agent and ranked second in Western Australia, having achieved over $3.5 billion in property sales throughout his career.

Originally from Belfast, Peter began his career in construction and engineering before moving to Dublin in the 1970s to manage planning and incentives for a major company. He later founded a successful marketing and property development firm, which he ran for 14 years.

In 1988, Peter moved to Perth with his four children, developing the iconic “Sandcastles on Scarborough” apartments soon after. His passion for real estate led him to become a leading agent in Perth’s western suburbs.

Joining Mack Hall Real Estate as a director in 1994, Peter has remained a dominant figure in the industry. Today, he leads a high-performing team that includes Sydney O’Connell and Ivy Jackson-Mee, who work closely alongside him to deliver exceptional results for clients across Perth’s western suburbs.

In 2006, he founded a gold exploration company - now managed by his son - that owns several tenements and three gold mines.

Beyond real estate, Peter is a keen oil painter, guitarist, and music enthusiast.
