Peter Snow

I am a joint partner in Snow Real Estate with my brother David. I joined the family business in 1989, and have worked exclusively in property management since 1992. My trade background in carpentry enables me to give accurate maintenance advice to landlords. I am also an investor and understand from a personal point of view, the concerns that a landlord – or a tenant – may have.

One of my landlords has been with Snow for over forty years and I have looked after their two properties for over 30 of those.

I was born in Toowoomba and returned to the business after stints in Mornington, Darwin and Brisbane with the Australian army. Outside of work, I am a keen member the Toowoomba Garden City Rotary Club.

My advice to a landlord would be to present the property as if they were expecting to live in it. Equally, I ask tenants to treat a rental property as if they owned it. That kind of mutual respect means I can offer successful and often very long-term tenancies.

The quality of advice and service that landlords receive is reflected in the majority of management requests being referrals or repeat business.
