Phil Sorgiovanni

Phil enjoys the challenges of the industry and believes the role of a modern Real Estate Agent is fast becoming that of a business partner to clients to ensure requirements are met.

Originally from a farming background and after completing 15 years in the grain industry at Co-operative Bulk Handling, Phil has gone on to complete several key areas within the Diploma of Business Management and also holds a Diploma of Property in Real Estate.

Phil has rapidly built his career since entering the real estate industry in early 2005, initially through a role within the commercial sector and residential sales before becoming manager in 2007.

Having acquired the agency in 2008, a complete re-brand to Activewest Real Estate came to fruition in early 2012. Phil remains as Principal of Activewest Real Estate and in 2011, having been deputy for three years, then took up the position as Chair of the local branch for the Real Estate Institute.

Phil has been fortunate to receive numerous industry accolades including consecutive Real Estate Institute WA Master Sales Person along with Top Sales & Listing Awards locally. Phil has recently relinquished his position as Chairman of REIWA Geraldton Branch a position he held for 5 years. Phil continues to hold other positions within the local community including Board Chair of St Francis Xavier School along with many other board /committee and coaching positions over many years.
