In just over three years since joining ResortBrokers in October 2019, Jessie Shi has firmly established herself as one of Brisbane’s foremost management rights specialists.


Jessie’s commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for her clients has resulted in more than $52 million worth of sales to some of Brisbane’s most landmark properties. Some $15 million worth of sales were achieved during the historically challenging Covid trading period when she first started with ResortBrokers, which is a testament to Jessie’s outstanding skills as a broker.


Her notable sales include a Devcorp suite of management rights for three luxury properties sold in one line: Lume in Kangaroo Point, Lincoln on the Park in Stones Corner, and Tallywood in The Gap. Other prominent sales include Langlands Close in Cooparoo, Dockside Apartment Hotel in Kangaroo Point, The Ridge Apartment Hotel in Spring Hill and The Grove in Richland, as well as a southside trio of management rights comprising Kyema Gardens in Parkinson, Calam Place in Calamvale, and Sunnybreeze in Algester.


For five years until she joined ResortBrokers, Jessie owned and operated her own management rights business in central Brisbane. This experience gives her an acute understanding of what it is like to run a management rights business and the process involved in buying and selling one.


A native Mandarin speaker, Jessie holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA from the University of Queensland. Prior to owning her own management rights business, she forged a highly successful career as a business development and key account manager for a global food and beverage company looking after the Asia-Pacific region.


Jessie’s extensive commercial dealings in Asia have equipped her with an in-depth understanding of business-related social/cultural differences among Asian cultures. She has used her experience to build and maintain long-term and mutually beneficial business relationships with stakeholders from various countries and sectors.
