Peter has an extensive property background in the private sector. With a total of 14 years in the property industry, this experience covers most areas of Real Estate. He is currently primarily responsible for Sales in the Industrial, Retail & Hotel & Leisure property market in Darwin & undertakes sales project marketing assignments throughout Northern Territory.



Peter commenced KennedyMcVann in April 1999 along with fellow Shareholder Mr Michael Willesee. The agency soon grew and in October 2001, the company changed its name to Knight Frank (Northern Territory).



Peter’s extensive Agency experience has involved positions held in Research, Consultancy and Valuation, Leasing, & Sales. His Real Estate experience includes:


~ Valuation of commercial, residential, rural, industrial, hotel & leisure properties.


~ Leasing of commercial, retail, leisure, hospitality & industrial properties.


~ Sales of rural properties, cattle stations, vineyards, residential & commercial land sales, commercial & retail properties, portfolio sales & catalogue auctions, industrial properties, strata titled units, residential subdivisions, project marketing &investment properties, hospitality & leisure properties.


~ Market research & reporting on the real estate market in general. Reporting to local, state & national press regarding real estate activity, monitoring & assessing its performance.


~ Property management; analysing the risk & returns associated with real property.


~ Development of investment feasibility studies & the analysis of investment performance of real property.


~ Extensive consultancy work for major retail users including tenancy mix & layout.


~ Commercial project sales & leasing from conception through to completion.
