Jonathan Blocksidge

Jonathan is a passionate and committed real estate professional who has worked in the real estate industry for over thirty years. Along with being a licensed auctioneer and real estate agent and the managing director of Blocksidge, Jonathan is also a Director of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) and a Trustee Director of the Real Estate Industry (REI) Superannuation fund. As the fourth generation of the Blocksidge Real Estate family business and with his experience across many areas of the real estate industry, Jonathan has earned a profound understanding and developed outstanding skills in his time in this industry.

With his various roles across many different areas of the real estate industry, Jonathan gains unique insights and exposure to what is happening in the market. However, he is not the sort of agent to throw around flyaway predictions or unsubstantiated advice. He explains, “My focus is always on my clients’ property goals and requirements and I enjoy working with them to achieve these. I hold myself to the very highest standards of ethics and I expect all of the agents and staff at Blocksidge to do the same. My goal is to provide a full service agency where clients can come and get all of the information they require to help them make the right, carefully considered and informed choices when it comes to their property dreams.”

A man of tradition and honesty, Jonathan loves working in real estate in both the residential and commercial space. He also lends his experience and skills as an auctioneer, extending himself out of his comfort zone (the real estate industry) in order to offer his auctioneering talents to many charity auctions. Jonathan enjoys supporting the local community and wholeheartedly believes in giving back.
