David Giezekamp

With three decades of Inner West real estate experience to his name, David Giezekamp is both a Licensed Real Estate Agent and one of the area’s most successful Auctioneers. Along with his brother Cary, he’s Co-Director and fourth-generation owner of a proud family business established by his great grandfather in 1899.

His engaging, intuitive and confident auctioneering style is a distinct advantage for the agency, with David delivering high-energy auctions with a sense of intimacy. He was 2007 winner of the REINSW Awards for Excellence in Auctioneering and a 2008 finalist in the Australasian Auctioneering Championships. Having sold thousands of properties, David’s valuable insider knowledge comes from his strong local ties and passionate community work. He was the Rotarian President for Leichhardt for nine years and regularly volunteers as auctioneer for local schools, neighbourhood groups and charities including the Leichhardt Saints Soccer Club, Lifeforce Cancer Support Group, St Brendan’s Catholic Primary School & Parish and St Fiacre’s Catholic Primary School.

A long-term Inner West resident and enthusiast, David’s a strong advocate for utilising new technologies to advance client service and enhance the industry as a whole.
