Andrew Smith

One of Canberra’s most successful commercial agents, Andrew is the Director of Civium Commercial. A partner in Civium Commercial for over six years he has been in the commercial property industry itself for more than 13 years. Although Andrew’s role encompasses management of the entire Civium Commercial business and its team, he has his fingers on the commercial property pulse to ensure clients’ needs are consistently met. In addition to providing high-level sales and leasing, Andrew specialises in strategic advice on asset positioning to ensure performance above market levels.

His involvement in a large range of high-level sale and leasing transactions has seen him selling multi-million dollar properties in Barton, Braddon, Deakin, Woden, Civic, Belconnen, Mitchell, Phillip, and Fyshwick. His leasing success has primarily been in the blue-chip office markets of the CBD, Barton, Deakin, and Belconnen. Experienced not only with private clients and corporate organisations, Andrew has recently completed leases with DEEWR, the Department of Human Services, and the Department of Fisheries.

Andrew and the Civium team were appointed to the ACT Government’s LDA land sales panel, and are involved in selling some of the ACT’s most significant sites. These include Section 200 in Belconnen and the Kingston Arts Precinct on the sophisticated Kingston foreshore.
