David Russell

David Russell is the Principal, Business Owner and Rural Property Consultant at Harcourts Burnie, originally drawn to open a franchise wtih the Harcourts Brand in 2009 by its unmatched professionalism and integrity across Australia and New Zealand.

Hailing from regional Victoria, David relocated to Tasmania in 1977, and has had a range of diverse careers, including a number of years travelling around shearing and managing a hotel in Burnie for 10 years. He then found his niche in real estate, a field he enjoys for its challenges and opportunities to interact with people, and combines now with a side hobby of managing a small rural holding and breeding champion Hereford cattle.

Since joining the industry the late 1990s, David has gained extensive experience in real estate and moved along with the huge technological changes real estate has seen in that time. David is well known in the community and combined with a wealth of experience and local knowledge is a proven performer in residential, commercial and rural sales.

David emphasises the importance of choosing a comfortable and trustworthy agent when buying or selling property. A keen home renovator, he relates well to both buyers and investors, understanding the emotional and financial processes involved in fulfilling their dreams.
