Ascot Homes and Garages are one of Bundaberg’s largest construction companies. We construct a range of architecturally designed homes, sheds, commercial and industrial buildings. We commenced operation in January 1984 at 8 Princess St Bundaberg and still operate from there to this day. As a family owned company we are proud of the fact we employ all local trades people and contractors (more than 100), and purchase the majority of materials from local suppliers.

At Ascot Homes we manufacture all our own frames and trusses from Australian steel, engineered to the highest standard giving the guarantee of extreme strength in cyclonic conditions in addition to being impervious to termites for the life of the building. Our system of construction is both architecturally pleasing to the eye and delivers many design advantages.

​We have constructed homes throughout the Wide Bay and Central Queensland district. Over the years we have sent homes to Western Queensland, Western Australia, Darwin and overseas to Vanuatu, New Guinea and Japan. Our local trades people have travelled to these areas instructing the locals how best to construct them.

At Ascot we are able to cover all your requirements whether you are building a home, a shed or need an extension. In addition to being licenced builders we are also licenced Real Estate agents and so we can assist you with purchasing land and advising of any possible problems with the land or area. While we have a wide range of architecturally designed plans we also have an in - house Designer who will work with you to design the home of your dreams or make any adjustments to one of the standard plans. This service comes at no additional cost to you (potentially saving you thousands).

The fact that we build in steel frames and trusses allows you freedom in the design of your home that is not available in a standard timber frame. The frames and trusses are manufactured in our own factory allowing us to better coordinate the building process. We also have our own cabinet making shop which overcomes outside delays and gives a large range of choice in design and colour. To also assist further we have our own colour consultant to advise on colours and items you wish to include in your home so you get the best possible result. From start to finish we strive to give you the very best outcome possible in your new dream home.

When it comes to a shed or garage our professional consultants are fully conversant with council bylaws and regulations. They take your project from site inspection, design, council approval to final construction. Once again because we design and manufacture it all here we are able to offer you any customisation you need in the way of design, size and construction that is not available when coming from prefabricated shed packages that only offer limited sizing options.

In addition to homes and sheds, Ascot also has a commercial and industrial division. Once again we can offer a full Project Management Service commencing with finding a suitable site or advice on your existing lot. We can manage the project for you liaising with Town Planners, Surveyors and Engineers. We offer our experience and expertise in the design and drawing of the building and finally construction to completion and occupation. We can even assist with finding tenants if this is required.
