Kerrin Farmer

Kerrin is a licensed Real Estate agent and has been involved in the industry for over 22 years with a wealth of knowledge in all facets of residential real estate specialising in property management.

Having completed tertiary education in Business and Small business management, Kerrin has always had a passion for real estate since leaving high school and has been involved in the industry since.

With experience in selling real estate, an extensive background in trust accounting, training staff in both property management and adminstratin roles, and managing large rent role departments, Kerrin decided to use his knowledge and experience to open Shield Management back in 2009.

"I found that most conventional real estate agencies don't place the importance and energy into their property management departments that is required and deserved, considering the complexity and litigious nature of the field. There have been so many similiar and consistent complaints from people that I have spoken with about their personal experiences with their property management agency. This was the catalyst to open a business offering a more comprehansive and meticulous service than conventional agencies."

Currently owning investment properties personally, Kerrin has a unique insight as to what an investor expects. He has always lived by the motto: Treat everyone with the same level of respect as you yourself would expect to receive; applying this philosophy has proved itself time and time again.
