Mik Grist

Michael Grist, or ‘Mik’ as he is better known to our team, is a Leasing Manager with a diverse skill set, a love of learning and true dedication to helping us deliver a high standard of service to our clients.

Prior to making the jump to real estate, Mik was cooking up a storm in an impressive 15 year hospitality career as head chef in the mines in a FIFO worker position. A tough but rewarding role that required the ability to adapt, manage time and stay organised, Mik’s love of people and care when working with his team each day is a testament to his character, and reflection of a capable, proactive worker.

A keen gardener and lover of the outdoors, Mik understands the importance of presentation, attention to detail and reliability for his clients, having run his own gardening business for the last 5 years. Mik has diligently worked to attain his Interim Real Estate Representative Licence and found his way to Absolute Real Estate NT - where he has become a highly valued member of our team!

He is a self-confessed people person who holds honesty and integrity as his most important values. Mik is someone who is driven to problem solve, lend a hand and find the best possible outcome to suit all parties.

When he isn’t helping our clients find the property of their dreams, Mik can be found spending time with his partner and two young children or entertaining with friends. He is also a keen golfer and loves the quiet serenity of camping. As for what he enjoys about living in Darwin, Mik reflects that with its beauty, people and landscape it is very easy to love and feel at home in such a unique place.
