Property Manager Maxine Branston’s journey to Absolute has taken her from the north to the west and back north again!
Maxine is a dedicated PM who is passionate about properties and the people connected to them. As a proactive people person, she possesses a work ethic that most real estate agencies dream of.
Maxine initially joined Absolute in 2011 as a Property Manager’s Assistant, transitioning from a reception role at another Darwin real estate agency. During these formative years, she gained valuable insights into various aspects of the business, building her experience and finding her place within our work family. She also developed a keen interest in eventually managing her own portfolio.
In 2015, Maxine relocated to WA, where she continued flourishing in the real estate industry, focusing on Property Management. Her work spanned remote parts of WA, including Bunbury, Capel, Collie, Donnybrook, and prestigious suburbs in the North of Perth.
This phase in her career allowed Maxine to deepen her understanding of business acquisitions, company development, growth, and procedural changes across different locations, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
In May 2023, the stars aligned, and Maxine moved back home to Darwin with her partner Josh, rejoining Absolute as a Property Manager!
In the fast-paced world of attending to the needs of owners and tenants, Maxine stands out as a reliable, organised, and upbeat presence in our agency. She is deeply committed to providing the best service possible and isn’t afraid to engage in honest conversations to swiftly resolve issues.
For Maxine, each new day presents an opportunity to make a difference in someone’s property journey, a task she accomplishes wonderfully. When asked what she loves most about Darwin, Maxine reflects on its stunning sunsets, scenery, and laid-back lifestyle, expressing that nowhere else comes close to living up north.
In her spare time, Maxine can be found making memories with her partner, Josh, spending quality time with family and friends and relishing all the city has to offer.
