Neil Jens commenced his career in real estate as a trainee valuer in 1976 – he’s been around a while!
Neil’s experience includes working as a qualified valuer and as a Ballarat real estate agent for many years. In 1986 he founded a real estate office in Ballarat and grew it to one of the largest in Victoria. He has been at the helm of an organisation that literally sold thousands of properties in Ballarat and district. He is an industry leader in marketing and consulting of residential land estates with an extraordinary track record of success in this regard.
Neil has sold many of Ballarat’s “top end” homes and has a wide network of potential clients looking to purchase that exclusive Ballarat property.
A great supporter of all things Ballarat, Neil has been involved in numerous organisations. He has held the role of chair and board member of Ballarat Child and Family Services and Conservation Volunteers of Australia. His services to both organisations and also to Sovereign Hill in Ballarat were recognised with life membership.
Neil’s great joy is his family and five grandchildren. He has a strong interest in Italian post renaissance art from the late 1500’s and into the 1600’s and is a student of the Italian language. He enjoys travel, reading, walking, classical music (with a bit of rock and roll for variety!) with an emphasis on Mozart, Beethoven and others.
Neil is a great believer in not just talking about customer service but delivering great customer service and is very keen to be part of the team at Jens Veal Byrne in raising the bar in the Ballarat Real Estate market.
