Daniel Alexander

Daniel Alexander is the Managing Director of LJ Hooker Southern Gold Coast. The Alexander family name has been synonymous with the Southern Gold Coast property market for more than three decades.

In 2015 Daniel and his father Bob and became the new owners of LJ Hooker Palm Beach - the first franchised LJ Hooker office in Queensland, established more than 40 years ago.

Daniel spent a few years hiring the right people and setting up the right systems to enable it to grow to what it is today.

In 2018, Daniel invited Brett Gleeson, Chartered Accountant and now business partner to join the business as Director of Property Management.

With Brett's leadership, the business expanded further in 2020, opening its specialist commercial property division, LJ Hooker Commercial Southern Gold Coast.

Daniel's primary focus has always been seeking out the right people to join his team and creating an environment for them to fulfil their potential. As Sir Leslie Hooker said in 1928, “Real estate is not about property. It's about people.” With investment in people, support systems, training, technology and marketing, Daniel has managed to build a high-performance culture and one of the most reputable real estate businesses on the Southern Gold Coast - which consistently delivers successful outcomes to their clients.

The business has steadily grown over the years, with a team of more than 50 people now providing a comprehensive suite of real estate services including residential and commercial sales, leasing and property management from Palm Beach, Currumbin Waters and Coolangatta | Tweed offices.

Daniel is fully licensed and accredited in QLD and NSW and holds university qualifications in Business and Psychology. Prior to entering the real estate industry, Daniel held various senior human resource management positions locally and internationally in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.

Daniel is a genuine family man who spends his time away from real estate with his wife Kelly and his two children; Grace and Sam.

Daniel is a 'helper' and will speak to you honestly and openly based on his values of integrity, service and ‘keeping it real’. Daniel is calm, considered and has a sense of humour which keeps life in perspective.
